Pizza Night

Come along to the club on Tuesday 15th March at 7.15 pm and meet the coaches (Norman McGlinchey and Andrew Haw) and let them and the committee know whether you feel the club meets your needs. This is your chance to let us know what you think.
4 matches were played on selected dates and 1 match was re-arranged. Congratulations to all the players, the reserves and one standby player for a great result with 4 wins and 1 drawn match.
Once all the results are finally in to the SLTA we are in line for promotion to Division 1
We look forward to more success in 2011
We are looking for as many volunteers as possible to come to the club and help tidy up the grounds: gathering up leaves; removing moss from courts; small amount of painting of clubhouse outer walls. Any time you can spare would be very much appreciated. We hope to be finished in a couple of hours.
The finals of the 2010 Club Tournament took place on Saturday 28 August

One very important thing that we’d like you to do is to help us get the Club database into the best possible shape – please help us! Please download this Excel Spreadsheet open it, fill it in and send it back to membership@murrayfieldtennis.co.uk. We will only be using this information for Club purposes and will not be selling or using this information for any other purpose.
Thank you very much!
If you have any problems or need it in a different format – then just give us a shout – membership@murrayfieldtennis.co.uk.
Any budding wordsmiths or literary geniuses out there? If you’d like to see your words in print (or on screen as the case may be) then we’d love to show you how. A recent web session was held – and editors Doug, Douglas & Greg have already been posting various news and views to the site.
To join them, please just drop us a line – membership@murrayfieldtennis.co.uk. Likewise – if you wish to write the newsletter – look after the Murrayfield Facebook Group or be a MLTC Tweeter then please let us know. Juniors particularly – if you’re reading this and want to give us a hand then we’d love you to be involved – just get in touch.
Our coach Norman has another hidden talent – he can also be relied upon for all your restringing and new grip requirements & offers a great deal to Murrayfield LTC members. Restringing Prices can be downloaded here – or get in touch directly with Norman for more information.
Norman’s contact details are:

Club Coach Norman McGinley is also offering some Adult Coaching and will be running some coaching programmes to teach older dogs some new tricks – hopefully… More details to be posted on the website shortly.
Welcome to all the new members that have joined recently – it’s great to have you on board! We would love to see you at our Ladies / Gents / Juniors Nights and if you have any suggestions or feedback on the Club then we’d love to hear it!
